Jump Rope

On Monday 16th May, schools from different parts of New Zealand came to see Peter Nestler the world champion of jump rope and to support the Heart Foundation. Holly, Jordan, Megan and Hannah went to represent Saint Paul's.

Peter Nestler was very inspiring and helped us learn some tricks on jump rope.

Here are some Saint Paul's students with Peter.....

Running Club

Spot the teachers!
In week 1 Mrs Thomas started a running club. 71 students have joined, from years 1 to 8.

It helps everyone get fit and trained for cross country coming up in week 5.

Even some of  the teachers are doing it.
Off we go!

                                                                  Our Running Record!!
After each run we have been writing down our distances.

We run for 15 minutes twice a week. 1 lap of the school is half a km .
Jordan encouraging the smaller children!
Some of us are managing 5 laps or more  in that time!
